‘Tis McRib Season

The iconic McRib returns to McDonald’s once a year, and what began as a limited time menu item quickly evolved into a cultural phenomenon. To celebrate its saucy comeback, we transformed the launch into its own holiday, elevating fan obsession into a true seasonal moment. Perfectly timed between Thanksgiving and Christmas, it was treated by fans as the centerpiece of the season. We built a full holiday world around the release, including festive branded sweaters and socks, social giveaways, daily deal content, and a custom McRib carol brought to life on radio. We extended the experience beyond digital channels by sending carolers into the community to spread McRib cheer in person.

When the McRib returns, it is more than a sandwich. It is a season!
